Daughter just received an outright rejection from UCSD at 3 PM. And we received an acceptance from UCI an hour later. The emotional roller coaster was unbelievable. We are local Irvine, so will take UCI any day.

D24 got accepted, and $20K per year Director’s Scholarship for two years! CS major, OOS, 1570 SAT, 36 ACT, NMF, 15 APs (9 taken before senior year, all 5s), 4 DE, 4.0UW/4.7W. Now we’re seriously considering UCI. Don’t see Regents or Honors.
