honestly, i’m losing hope. i feel as if all the uc waitlists have been a little slim this year :frowning:

UC Irvine still realistically has another wave for this week and the week after. Past few years they had around 4 waves.

Same. I really thought that there might be a better chance this year because of government and stuff but I guess not

I know many people have been calling the admissions desk at berkeley and have been able to gauge a bit more on waitlist movement. Would doing so be possible for Irvine?

hopefully, but important to keep in mind that last year irvine had only 2 waves. if this year is similar, I wouldn’t expect a wave.

Do we know what time they usually do it by? Like by 5 maybe?

I’m not entirely sure, but just going through this thread it appears the wave on 5/2 was around 6:30 and the past wave was around 5

Hip hip hooray! Today Friday, 05/30/25 @ 5:04 PM PST, I received UCI email regarding “There’s an update on your applicant portal.” OMG! I got off the 1st-year student waitlist for Psychological Science, OC, SoCal in-state. Congrats to all of you who got off UCI waitlist! For those of you who are still waiting to get off the waitlist, keep up your hope because there should be 1 or 2 more waves of admits off the waitlist based on the past years and of course GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!! :partying_face::collision::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::collision:

Does anyone know if its possible to get housing after getting off the waitlist at this point?

I would contact Housing directly but in previous years there was not a guarantee for waitlisted students.

Didn’t get off. Instate, SoCal & Criminology. Did anyone get off for crim cause I’m losing hope.

I’m afraid I won’t get off the waitlist too as the waves seem to be getting smaller :frowning:
