UC IRVINE Fall 2020 Transfer Thread

Hello everyone!
I got accepted today as a Chemistry major. I got the email notification at 5:01pm
I am transferring from a CSU, junior applicant. I have 3.74 gpa
I completed all courses, except for the second part to organic chemistry.

Not there : / kinda weird considering he says he got honors certified and has a 3.85 GPA. He wants to contact the admissions office tomorrow and see if there was a mistake

Anyone get into Public Health Sciences today? I applied to UCI through a guaranteed admissions program through my CC called U-Link and still haven’t gotten a response.

3.71 CS waitlisted - what are my chances on waitlist

Hmm, I got waitlisted for CS. I was kinda expecting it, given that my GPA being at 3.48 is kinda low.

Although, the wording is kinda weird:
''Thank you for applying to the University of California, Irvine. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer you admission at this time for Fall 2020. However, your application is strong and we want to provide you the opportunity to be included on the freshman waitlist."

They want to include me on the Freshman Waitlist?

Hi @chun_lilli ! I got accepted into Public Health Policy today. I think giving them a call might answer some of your questions especially since you applied through guaranteed admission.

Just got waitlisted (CS) (got the decisions at around 7pm). The weird thing is though they said they’d offer me a spot on the FRESHMAN waitlist?
