I just feel like this process is so out of my control and that’s the hardest part. I mean we’ve been waiting for five months now to hear back, it’s very frustrating. I’m transferring from a four year and I feel like the app process is harder this time around.

UCI Transfer admits got e-mailed invitation links to “Celebrate UCI” virtual sessions. I attended but found out they were actually just for freshman. I asked a transfer-related question and it was answered with “Email us for transfer questions” . . . and then freshman students continued to ask questions.
The answers to their questions are easily found online. Representatives answered freshman’s repeat questions (within same session, within minutes of each question) - but they couldn’t be bothered to reply to transfer students.
Transfer students only get one info session (tomorrow). -___-
Who even knows if the decisions will be out by then.
finally posting a reply after weeks of stalking lol. crossing my fingers for today but already losing hope. any other drama majors here?
@lovecpa That is so highly frustrating. Well at least it does loosely confirm that admission decisions will be given today and soon.

It makes me sad to think that UCI doesn’t care about transfers as much. I wanted to go to this school for a while now and it’s heart breaking knowing we’re an after thought ?
If it makes you feel any better, I personally haven’t had a better experience anywhere else. UCLA doesn’t even come to the transfer fairs…

i keep refreshing. this cant be healthy. they need to release it today. I am losing sleep lmao. It just doesnt make sense. Last year people got it on 18th, or 19th. like okay thats fine cause for us it is the weekend but not its monday so it has got to be today right? if it comes on thurday or friday, Im going to lose my mind.
@lulu102 Someone said UCI has a transfer seminar / information session tomorrow, so I would think it seems pretty likely to be released today. But, who knows, it’s just a guess.
uci made me go through hell of refreshing during my freshmen year, so am a bit chill now 
but yea i keep coming back on here every couple of hours
