They may be. What are your stats like? If you’re TAGed or a 4.0 it’s safe to say they’re still releasing them. If you’re a 2.0, they may be waiting until the end of the window to release rejections.

I TAGd with a 3.18 gpa for an easy major (anthro) and I have yet to hear back.

Yeah, if you’re TAGed you’re fine. They just haven’t released them all yet, it seems.

Accepted! as of 12:01 AM 3/1/11

Major: Neuroscience
GPA:3.51
No TAG

I will try my best not to go here but I really don’t understand much of the bad rep UCR has. Their campus looks really top-notch now and I realize it once looked kinda crappy since I’ve been visiting here many times since I was 4 years old, but the whole place looks really nice now. The buildings sure look better than the buildings even at UCSB minus the beach.

Nice to know I have this as a backup! :)

You don’t know why they have a bad rep?

The R in UCR stands for Rirverside.

The only bad thing I see in Riverside is no beach and the temperature is about 6 degrees higher on average than the beach areas. I’m not a big fan of socal after living here for so many years but Riverside seems a bit more fun than even Irvine minus the beach.

What.

I lived in Menifee for the better part of five years. Riverside is the smoggy armpit of SoCal.

woah woah woah. I think you’re still talking about riverside in the 80s. those were the stories my dad told me about when he first moved here in 1986. we have clear skies most days here (Thank you California Clean Air Act!). I don’t like Riverside but that is just a complete lie. The only problems riverside has is slightly hotter weather and not enough places to go except the mall or a movie Theatre or a hookah bar and the occasional house parties here and there.

But seriously, socal in general is just like that.

anyone know when the next batch is being release?

I didn’t live in Riverside in the 80s. I wasn’t even born until 1987, and until 1994 I lived in Orange County.

And yes, Riverside sucked when I lived there. UCR is actually not a bad campus. It’s pretty new and all. The city around it… not so great.

Agreed with Grimes99, although downtown Riverside is pretty decent. Awesome coffeeshops and some decent bars. There is also a rock climbing gym I go to out there called Hanger 18, where I pretty much live, so I’m kind of partial.

I just got accepted to Riverside.
I have TAG.
Psychology, 2.97 GPA… lol

Accepted to Riverside today. Never thought Id be so excited about Riverside lol

got into UCR as well. English major 3.2-3.0 (not sure after fall update lol) gpa. And I had tag.

I got into Riverside with a 3.5 transferable in English B.A.
If I don’t get into L.A, I’ll most likely end up going there because it’s only 10 mins from where I live, plus I can keep my job at RCC and go to school.
Also, to those people who say downtown riverside is not that bad, you guys probably don’t live there, do you?

lol just got my ucr packet thing in the mail, this thing is out of control hahaha

Just got mine. It’s identical to the webpage posted earlier, but in pop-up book form.

Congrats!

I go to UCR and I’ve just taken a poli sci class. Take a class with Bishin, he’s great.
