How many days before your son was accepted did the portal change?
I forgot, at the time people talked about it and I checked, it was like that already, maybe couple days before 3/15/24.

That doesnât make it accurate astrology at all - all that means is that seeing the nav bar removed at some point doesnât mean you are definitely rejected, it means nothing else (it likely means nothing at all).
mine also disappeared; i didnt check my portal until 3/2/25 4 pm pst, but my navbar and my friendâs navbar were both gone. 3 other friends still had it though
Well, I guess we will see! I hope this at least indicates that decisions will be coming out sooner than expected.

Omg, I think itâs real because when when I checked my twin brothersâ portals, itâs only gone for the one who we thought is more competitive academically
is there any chance theyâve only uploaded decisions for scholarship/early notif/etc? like top % of admits? at my school specifically only a few kids have no banner and theyâre all extremely smart
Interesting! For those who do not have the blue navbar at the top, how do you logout of the portal? The navbar had the logout dropdown on the right side.
Just kidding.
These are the people logging in every day and loading the server. Logout button was removed for them to reduce server load in preparation for decision release.

This makes me worried, I see the nav bar and UCSD is S25âs first choice school. 
Please do not read too much into the tea leaves. As per our forum gurus, only UC-B has had some portal astrology predictions. I think some chancellor/ regent admittees from UCB/UCSB, also see their navigation bar

I think they still havenât fix it this year. Couple students in my high school have banner disappeared on Friday afternoon and their unweighted gpa are all 4.0 with weighted >4.7, pretty strong candidates. Majority (~70%, in my cycle) are still with banner. I guess last Fridayâs update is the first batch and they may do an early admission release this week. UCSD did this last year.
Are you sure that there was an early admission release for UCSD last year since I heard only UCB, UCSC and UCSB(through Chancellors invite) are doing early acceptance release?
There was no early admissions for Freshman applicants last year. All decisions were posted on March 15. UCSD has not done early admissions (early calling program) for many years now.
Yes they did last year 2024. Two lucky guys from my high school got early admission. But it looks like they will do a big early admission this year given the number of candidates whose banner has disappeared so far. I guess they did a tryout last year with small group of top candidates but decided to do a bigger rollout on early admission this year.
Last year, a small group of ppl got their decision on March 1st.

So, do you think only first batch whose banner has disappeared will only be admitted or they will roll out other batches later like UCSC?
Checked this morning (home), I had the banner. Went to school, no banner. Went home for lunch, no banner. Coming back, I have the banner. Donât think it means anything.
