The colleges really have no influence on your major/career as the classes you take for them are general ed. A lot of people favor muir (that is currently my college) because it has the least amount of college requirements and people tend to get them done with pretty quickly. I never lived in the apartments as I am a transfer student. The people I know that are currently living there, however, tell me that they like living there. It is further away from the Rimac gym but I believe the Main Gym is not that far away. The dining hall in Muir (Pines) is one that I know a lot of people go to. The food around campus is “generally” the same (by this I mean you can always find pizza and sandwiches and sometimes pasta in multiple dining halls) but they do vary. My advice would be to visit the school and the colleges because you really can’t get the feel for them without being here in person. I’m a transfer student so I never had to actually live in my college, but they are different from each other (environment and style wise).
