Should I contact them if I don’t see any of my self-reported scores then? I see it for UC Irvine and Berkeley but not UCSD?
Have the decisions only come out on Fridays in the past?

I have a 4.0 and I have the bad housing message. CS major and I know it’s impacted so… maybe that’s why I might have the bad message and I might be seeing a rejection letter in a week. Ugh…
What should the “right” housing be?
I think considering there are more batches to come (hopefully), not having the “Good” housing message right now does not mean its the end of the road yet (if the housing even means anything after all).
Also, I know someone who was accepted in 2011. They received an email on a Monday March 21st stating their admission decision had posted to the myapplication website on Saturday March 19th.
I have my fingers crossed that tomorrow there will be an update. My housing message changed today and the parent info section is gone.
For the test scores section, mines is empty. Are my AP scores supposed to be there? I didn’t know we had to send it to the UCs.
@HappyLifeMachine I also have the bad housing message. I’m an EE major with a 3.95 GPA. I’ve received a lot of rejections so I wouldn’t be surprised if I were to be rejected from UCSD.
i think the housing msg always changes during midnight. and it changes back during the day. ppl are thinking too much man
@HappyLifeMachine you have a 4.0 gpa I’m pretty sure you will get in. Think positive!

WARNING: THIS IS CONCERNING HOUSING MESSAGE
So basically I looked through for every poster on in the UCSD 2014 transfer thread, and I checked to see who mentioned the housing message. (I was bored at work, and I had nothing better to do)
Here are my result:
Everyone who mentioned that they got a change in their housing message to the “Good” one between 4/9 and 4/11(Friday -Saturday)
which was one week before the second batch got an acceptance in 4/18 (the following friday)
Everyone who got the “bad” message on 4/9-4/11, got either rejected or waitlisted
The subjects that got the “good” message comprised of CCC applicants and one OOS applicant.
The time-frame was from 4/9 to 4/18, so whatever posted about the housing message outside this time-frame is not part of this study.
The “good message” or new message after 4/11 was
“The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.”
The “bad” message or old one before 4/9 was
“Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact the Housing Office at 858-534-4010 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 4pm.”
We have the same message this year too
Conclusion:
-Correlation from last year does not indicate same correlation for this year, so I would not take this information to heart.
-The study does not include people who did not post anything about the housing message
-High possibility of getting results(Second Batch) on friday 4/17/15
COMMENTS: I know a lot of people are going to hate me for this. I am ready to face the consequences.
