My son took 12 APs and a few honors courses, has a 4.58 WGPA, and has had 2 Bs throughout high school. He has a job every summer, very minimal high school involvement (no sports, no music, etc.), and a lot of volunteer hours. I think his essays were good, not fantastic. And his bedroom is a disaster
extremely disappointed since I do not believe there is going to be another wave for cognitive science. Good luck to everyone that made it in! I hope there is another wave since I am waiting as a cog science major but it isn’t looking so good.
Is the applicant’s ucsd portal the primary area to check if the student got off the waitlist? Or is it the email? Or both? Thanks. Still waiting for daughter to receive good news.
Most people usually get an email that says their application has an update and the update is them getting off the waitlist. It would be both since the email provides insight on if your application was pulled off the waitlist and you would check the portal.
Applicants receive an email notifying them that an update has been made to their portal, but sometimes the emails arrive a few hours after the portal update has occurred so the portal always provides the most current info.
