Okay, so that’s just weird. “Events” should be there if a student is being admitted. I think this is probably just a loading issue.

ok so apparantly on reddit theres like a new banner/old banner. i think new banner is if u can see viewbook/events and no prestige and old banner is if u just dont see prestige?

People are reading way too much into this portal stuff. The viewbook and events section has always been there. Some people say they no longer see the “prestige” banner in their portals, but whether it is there or not, I don’t think translates to any particular admissions decision.
I’m hoping my prestige banner might just disappear overnight :’) I see a lot of people on Reddit saying that they don’t have it with impressive stats, for CS. They might still be putting the results in as of now, possibly?
my friend said he doesnt see the viewbook and events section though
it might be in waves like last year, tho im not sure

Whether your friend sees it or not (assuming you believe him/her), I don’t think it means anything in particular in terms of an admissions decision. We all will just have to wait until next week once decisions are released.

I’m CS, the #3 prestige is gone for me. I have the “A Tradition of Success” thing with viewbook and events now
is everyone here reporting changes to the portal freshmen, and any news on transfer astrology?? i heard transfer astrology is the same as for freshmen but don’t know if it happens at the same time or later
i dont think theres anything for transfers

the viewbook section has been there for most(if not all) applicants. can confirm this based upon my own portal as well as my friends’. As for the prestige, it is a past portal astro which leads some of us to think it could be significant, but as with any portal astro, you never really know until decisions are out.
Oh it seems the section to apply FAFSA by 3/2 was also gone. Right?
