UC Santa Cruz fires grad students for unauthorized strike

It’s like saying to poor white folks in the rust belt areas where there is no job prospect: if you can’t find job there, why don’t you just get educated, move to move to other areas where there are jobs?

I don’t understand the comparison. PhD students at the smartest state university system on the planet are more than capable of making that choice.
