We have released some of our first-year admissions decisions for fall 2024 today. Please check the MyUCSC portal. You will be able to view your decision according to the first letter of your last name (all times are Pacific Time):

A - C beginning at 4:00 p.m.

D - G beginning at 5:00 p.m.

H - K beginning at 6:00 p.m.

L - N beginning at 7:00 p.m.

O - S beginning at 8:00 p.m.

T - Z beginning at 9:00 p.m.

After logging in, click on the “Application and Status Info” tile. The links in the portal contain information for both admitted students and students who were not offered admission.

Should you have any questions that are not addressed in the portal, please contact our office at admissions@ucsc.edu.

I never requested anything. I confirmed rejection with no “unread messages” on the portal around 12:00, and I received the email on 2:30 pm today.

I check regularly. there have been “0 unread message”, then I clicked the tab. status has been changed

I was in the waitlist, but status was changed without any notification, and after 3 hours received that email of release schedule.
