Use TAG to transfer if UCSC is your dream school, the system is only available to the students in California community colleges.
My oldest son did not get accepted to any UCs he applied to last year including UCSC last year, and now is at CC.
He has high enough GPA to “TAG” UCSB, UCD, UCI, and UCSC(you can only “TAG” one).
chill out, if you want to be political go somewhere else, this forum is for speculation on college admissions not for complaining that your “perfect little daughter” is better than someone else and illegal minorities have it easier. I’m sure the parents of those kids work just as hard as you.

Tricky year. Curious how next year’s seniors will fare with probably even higher volume of applicants that are learning from our process. Congrats to students and parents on graduation soon!

@Crissymom I’m an out of state student whose parents worked multiple jobs in order to get me here and I was accepted from the waitlist earlier. I’m probably also “less qualified” than your daughter as I have a 3.4 GPA and a 1280 SAT. I just wanted to say that I really don’t appreciate your comments on out of state students. They are unwarranted and out of order.

Nah, stuck with in-state, it’s about twice as cheap.

Guys, my sister said that first they reject everyone from the waitlist they absolutely don’t want, then accept a bunch of people, and at the end, reject the final batch.
Is she correct?
Mine just says “You have successfully opted in to the UC Santa Cruz waitlist”
