I believe some UC has an Electrical Engineering and Linguistics major. Did you look into that? I think it’s UCSD
Electrical engineering is definitely not my path lol
You still get some CS out of it but it’s just a suggestion. Though I have a feeling I have seen a combo major with Linguistics and CS but it may just be EE only. I’m an EE major but I kinda enjoy it because you’re not just coding all the time you get to build circuits too!
@hoshizora yes I have seen the CS+Ling Major offered before, usually at UC, not CSU
It’s a bit different than going directly into Computational Linguistics, because of the specialized approach. I think doing Electrical would be going off-track for me… and it doesn’t help that electrical wires make me anxious
I see electrical wires can be dangerous it makes me a little anxious too
