@mom2adancer Chemistry is in the College of Chemistry, not L&S (College of Letters & Sciences). So far only one person online (Reddit) has claimed they got in OOS in L&S for a CS major.
Thereās also Chemistry in L&S. the Chemistry major in College of Chemistry get the BS diploma, while Chemistry major in L&S got BA diploma.
@nwsense I am also waitlisted for CNR & am wondering the same thing. But I think most pre reqs for cnr are similar to l&s so hopefully that factors in??? Idk but iām praying!!

Honestly I feel like Iām going through a heartbreak because berkeley had the exact major I wanted and everything Iāve ever wanted to do with my lifeāthey have the resources for. I am thinking of going to a cc first and then transfering. Itās just hard because then I think about struggling for two more years, wanting to get into my dream college. Lol sorry for the rant, damn I lost track of myself. Just praying right now and leaving the rest to God. I hope everyone here can find peace as well.

@seniorturtle there are many āBerkeley or Bustā kids out there who decide that they would rather go to CC and take another crack at Cal one or two years later. Itās not a bad option. Youāll save close to $70K in the process as well.
Does Berkeley admit students off the waitlist for the department of English in the College of Letters and Sciences? I have not heard of anyone admitted in English specifically, and it seems only a few have gotten off the waitlist for L and S. What factors determines who getās off the waitlist?

@seniorturtle I was accepted off the waitlist for CNR on the 7th of May. I am an American citizen, currently living abroad. So I think I was considered OOS.
