My conclusion is that you hardly become rich (>USD 5M w/o any mortgage payment) by working for others as an employee…even with an EECS degree from UCB. ><
“Hardly” I meant less than 5%…
Any Frosh Chem student or Stats student at Cal would have gotten a 1 (out of 5 points) for that Title.
Hint 1: response rate is ~35%. Hint 2: it’s an average of those who are employed and who complete the survey, with no corroboration, i.e., 35% anecdata. Hint 3: I’d guess, and it’s only a guess, that those who were employed were more likely to complete the survey. Those unemployed, not so much. Put a bunch of zeros or minimum wage jobs in the dataset and see what happens to those ‘averages’.
@bluebayou : You’re absolutely right on this as I also thought about these three hints in the beginning when I recalled from my intro stat class. 
And it can only be used nothing more than a reference.
