<p>It’s not THAT odd to get accepted to both. i mean, if you think about it, they are kind of looking for similar applicants…at least that has been my impression.</p>

Counselor Rec: eh…long but relatively impersonal (just listed credentials)
Hook (if any): I was a part of a group of 5 high school students who founded (and have maintained for the past 3 years) a 5k run/walk in my area. Proceeds go to UNICEF for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
