In past years it’s been later in the afternoon - four or five pm CT.

Some public flagships will inadvertently tip their hand because the system so cumbersome that stuff has to be uploaded in waves. So you get evidence that you are admitted before receiving the notification. Privates tend to be another story. In prior years, UChicago has not signalled a positive admission outcome ahead of time unless it’s a likely letter. Anyone with a question about their portal, including the request for a final transcript prior to any decision being issued, should contact their AO for clarification. It’s always possible - though very unlikely - that some wires got crossed and someone else’s message ended up in your portal.
Gosh I hope having a “awaiting final transcript” isn’t a sign, bc DD has no sign of that on her portal!

@whytholol I have not received it. Have you? And if you did when exactly are they going to release the decisions?
why the hell would they send two emails saying “decisions will be out 5pm” then “decisions are out”. They’re a top university; they are efficient.
Have they sent out any emails regarding decisions coming out? I only saw this online.
