@NotVerySmart I mentioned my APES teachers credentials because I thought they were an interesting addition but that’s not the main reason I chose her. I’ve only had her this year but I’ve gotten straight As in her class, she’s been really involved in my club (got one of her classes to donate 250 books), and since I’m interested in doing environmental science in college possibly we also talk about that outside of class. Additionally, when I first asked her for a recommendation she said that in the few months she’s been my teacher she feels like she’s gotten to know me pretty well and would be happy to write me a recommendation.
