Did he get in?
No, he got rejected. He got deferred first from EA and then rejected. But he got admitted to Carnegie Mellon so he is happy. Waiting for Ivy day now. He had great stats like ACT 36, all As , 14 APs and tons of Ecs and captain of a varsity sport team.

Does UChicago waitlist a lot of applicants? And what are the chances of getting off waitlist?
- Out of the âcollege forumâ pool of on average significantly more qualified applicants, yes, out of the general population, no, but this is just speculation from a bunch of fora

Any waitlist movement yet? Also, is anyone saying yes to the gap year. I said no, but thought this will reduce my chances. If I said yes, I thought they may prioritize my gap year and not consider me for 2029 as much.
