I don’t have any empty gray boxes, but I have financial aid information missing in the financial aid checklist area. Do you think that you guys might just have all the FA stuff submitted and thus have a gray box that is empty?

That gray box has been there for over two weeks. Ever since they removed the checklist. lol

@torvor, my dinosaur is sitting in my room and breathing fire at me, but I’m still cold. So my dinosaur and I are on the outs, but we’re working on it and trying to reconcile. This fight has been going on since yesterday. I hate fighting with my dinosaur! I just want my dinosaur to be nice to me. We’ve always been such great friends, I want to maintain that friendship.
Sorry for ranting about my fights with my dinosaur on here. But hopefully it made someone smile :)

do you mean the financial aid check list?

Now I’m panicking…I have a box that’s labelled Forms and the only thing in it is the date I requested an off-campus interview and a green check mark. Above that is a blank gray box, and above that is the “Upload Materials” box.

From a programming standpoint it kind of makes sense that you would create a grey box for all of the financial aid information and then only fill it in if there is something missing.

I never requested an interview, so this is explainable.

Hey you guys should all make reaction videos~!

I don’t have the financial aid checklist!! omg does that mean they never bothered to give me that option because I was already rejected?? :’(

@impressionistic did you submit your financial stuff

@crazychic don’t be sorry, everyone has the right to bring up problems. Maybe he’s hungry? I could fix something up for him. If that doesn’t work, I’m sure I could figure out a meal to warm you up

But the box is definitely new, I check my account last night. I didn’t apply for FA though, so maybe that’s why it’s there. Guess it’s nothing. I just want my decision so badly. :)

My guess is that they hit the send button at 4:00 Chicago time – just as they are walking out the door and before the phones start ringing off the hook. I picture them all counting down to zero hour, then they all head off to a local pub for celebratory cocktails. This is hard for a parent too, ya know. I"m not getting any work done this afternoon. They usually take around 1500 this round. With over 11,000 apps, that’s about 1 happy applicant for every 6.5 miserable ones. Not very comforting.

crazychic, we are internationals.

I’m going to break under the pressure.

Less than one hour! The suspense is killing me. I have a friend who applied EA, and he’s about to find out along with you guys. Good luck to everyone!

I’ve already applied for FA and requested an interview, so it can’t be any of those, and I have no new grey boxes on my account~ So unless there’s something weird going on, it’s not “D-box” (haha do you see what I did there? “THEE box, D-BOX” I give you full permission to slap me when we meet).

@dad i’m glad a parent is stressing as much as we are, makes me feel less alone

@international Oh yeah. But I applied for aid. Did you?

For those of us who are going to be rejected/ deferred:
