<p>Expect your class’s vital stats to be non-negligibly higher in all key respects. Your EC’s are outstanding and your GPA and rank nothing to sneeze at, though your ACT score, while in the target range (if not just below it), isn’t quite good enough to grant you free entry into “any school you want”.</p>
<p>Additionally, I suggest you do some research on the academic programs at the schools you’re looking into. Though UChicago’s economics program is the best in the world, economics is NOT business, nor is it “finance, accounting, or applied mathematics”. UChicago’s programs, generally speaking, are not applied, and this is certainly something to be aware of as you get closer to applying.</p>
