<p>Lol, I can’t imagine a school where NOBODY likes to go out to eat or go to sporting events. The answer is no. The fun is alive and well at UChicago. You will find yourself equally accepted if you are a partier (there are parties basically every night, Wednesday-Saturday, from Bar Night to Thirsty Thursday, etc.) or if you just like to hang out with friends and chill. The stereotype is, honestly, just a little humor that we as students like to make fun of ourselves for. If the stereotype didn’t already exist, I would never have thought to describe UChicago as a place where fun comes to die. But we are rather self-selecting in that sense.</p>
