<p>I really doubt that anyone who’s actually making a decision is in charge of that Facebook page. And if they are, why are they playing on Facebook instead of finishing their [already backlogged] applications?</p>

<p>I hope facebook isn’t the only medium UCI is planning on communicating with us through. Is may 7th the legit day or was that speculation? We should all get an email.</p>

<p>Okay here is the situation. I just spoke with admissions over the phone and this is what the lady said. Firstly I was very polite, secondly She didnt even apologize the fact that they didn’t notify the students that they didn’t reach the “target date” then she continued to say “we EXPECT” to be done by the end of the week. So May 6th is when we should expect the notifications at the latest in an ideal world, but in an ideal world the notification process would have been done on time on the 30th. So just hang in there guys, i know it’s frustrating but should be done soon. :].</p>
<p>Yeah but I don’t have a facebook and I shouldn’t have to get one to find out what’s going on with admissions. They should send out one simple email to us all or post something on their website that can be accessed by ALL rather than just facebookers. Now I gotta go find someone who has one…guess that shOuldnt be too hard lol.</p>
<p>What the hell! This is bullcrap. It’s been two days past the deadline and I still haven’t heard from the school and today is the deadline to SIR for other schools! I’m gonna call admissions and give them a piece of my mind. Seriously this is completely unprofessional. The least they can do is to notify us of their inability to keep up with their deadlines while they expect us to keep up with theirs.</p>
<p>Treat it as if you were on a waiting list, accept your admission to another school and then if you get into UCI, withdraw it. If they HAD created a waiting list, this would be the process anyway.</p>

<p>I got accepted to UCLA but am still waiting for UCI. </p>
<p>I’ll gladly consider UCI if they provide me with more financial aid, or even a full ride…considering UCLA still wants me to pay $9000 out of my pocket.</p>
<p>Aw man, another week. I was thinking, at least I’ll be able to focus by the 30th…</p>
