<p>I’m so anxious. UCI is my only hope that I have left. I was rejected by the other UCs because I went over 130 units. I’m a chem major. I really do hope that we get good news tomorrow. I’m really happy for those who have gotten in today.</p>

<p>Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to seriously respond, I was biking to class when I found out haha. Okay so I got the email around 5 pm. I’d checked like 20 mins before on myadmissionsapplication and there was nothing. Oh, and I’m a poli sci major. Thank you all for your congrats, but don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere… I’m rooting for all of you to join me in the fall! Zot zot!</p>

<p>oh don’t worry you’re fine. The cut off is 130. My counselor spoke to a UCI rep and they said that you are currently at CC then it doesn’t matter. I went to another University so that’s how I got the majority of my credits</p>

<p>@Fern37 UCI doesn’t have a cut off limit like most of the other UC’s do. I’m not positive on whyyyy the other UC’s do, but I’m guessing its because they want you to take most of your classes at their school … which means they get more $$$$ HAHA. When I talked to the UCI rep she said it was fine that I was over 90 units, so don’t fret :)</p>
<p>@kokonutz I’m a PSB major so not quite Psych (I didn’t wanna take calc and all of the hard core math and sciences LOL) but my GPA is a 3.29. Not too shabby but only a bit over the minimum for PSB. I do know someone who got into the same major with a 3.2, with no EC’s and I am doubting their personal statements were that stellar. So I’m keeping faith!!</p>

<p>@ JenK21: hold on, I thought that if you’ve taken over the maximum limit of classes, the UC puts those extra classes towards subject credit or something?</p>

<p>I don’t know anything about that but my counselor and all rejection letters said that due to the budget they cannot accept transfers with more than 130 units</p>
