<p>Yeah as sad as it sounds, the only reason I’m even contemplating Berkeley is because my best friend just got in also so I know I wouldn’t be going alone. In your situation at least you’re coming home to something and a life you already know so I’m sure you’re going to be happy here! Plus duhh the weather is SOOOO much nicer. No more seasonal depression lol</p>

<p>@killmyentourage My BF and I weren’t serious at all when I found out I’d be going to SF. We said we’d just see where things went. 6 months later when I moved, we were totally serious, and we’re still happy. We’ll probably be much happier when I move back. Don’t let go of something good just because you might move.</p>

<p>It’s definitely hard to leave things but I think sometimes people really just have to think about what is best for their own future. It’s SOOOO much easier to give that as advice than to actually take it haah</p>

<p>@jensiu But where else did you get in? I mean, if you got into both Davis and Irvine you wouldn’t really be sacrificing much by staying in so Cal, no offense. If you turned down Berkeley for Irvine that would be a much more difficult decision.</p>
<p>Oh @pUeeCs, you may have gotten that way earlier than. From what I can tell they send you e-mails a little late. Lol 51 minutes, doubt they’re gonna make it in time!</p>

so theres definitely some lag time between decision and the notification email</p>

<p>kokonutz, just don’t worry about it. I got rejected from a bunch of schools in the past 2 weeks and I still managed to study and do well on my exams. Just relax and not worry too much.</p>
<p>well i was waitlisted into davis’s animal science program (the only school that offers in the UC’s and best option for vet school) and one of my best friends is going there. i could use a study buddy like her haha. if i get into uci ill go for sure. either way! parents wont let me go to davis cause they dont want their kid going too far. plus i have to come home every weekend to work! yay. :/</p>

<p>but some people get notified on their myadmissions first before they’re notified in their email, don’t they? When I got accepted to Davis, I didn’t get an email until mid-afternoon even though my admission status changed to accepted in the morning.</p>
<p>That’s a really good program… animal science at Davis. I would really consider that even if you get into UCI.</p>
