<p>I’m a political science student at UCI right now, but my GF is still waiting to hear if she got in. I just wanted to let you all know that when I went into the admissions office, (to complain) last friday they told me that they are going to go up to a week beyond the deadline on a lot of transfer decisions. sorry for the bad news.</p>
<p>I agree with admission by default, we’ve been waiting way too long and they haven’t even emailed us to say anything about an extension on the deadline</p>

<p>We kindly followed their guidelines and they aren’t abiding by theirs.

<p>Calling these people will only lead to frustration. Im not exactly sure why these admissions counselors exist…because everytime I ask them anything they either dont know or “cant say”.</p>
<p>uci is seriously notorious for this. i remember when i played 2 years ago, i was rejected on the last day…really now ? this is why they are so unreliable…i never shook my head so much in a day…just cuz i’m disappointed with how they handle their applicants…</p>

<p>Seriously this is getting to a point where it is unfair to transfer students. It is not that hard. Yes or no. This is ridiculous. Another week? Just send out all the rejection letters asap…</p>
<p>I’d like to know who these admission staff are. UCI needs to hire better admission staff if they keep doing this. This is just ridiculous.</p>
<p>@kokonut: my stats were okay…2120 on SAT and GPA of 3.8 in high school…which is awful, but yeah…i thought i wouldve at least gotten into UCI, but no, waited until the last day to reject me and i was like what the what ?..you’re kidding me…</p>
