I submitted my SIR at 12:07 AM. Just read that I should allow 24 hours for my housing application to update and freaking out because the deadline is 11:59 tomorrow. So I’m wondering, how long did it take for your guys’ housing applications to show up after you submitted your SIR?? Was it exactly 24 hours or less?
@ncityusc Try to submit in a few hours. I believe someone went through the same issue and tried a couple of hours after and was able to.

I know the deadline to SIR is 6/1 but for those who just got admitted off the waitlist, is your portal showing the SIR deadline as 6/6?
If you get accepted off the waitlist you get 5 days to make a decision.
What happens if you accept loans from the school (that they offer you) and you get off the waitlist for another school? Do those prospective loans get canceled if you decide to go to the waitlisted school?
@IBkidonthestreet if the loans come from the institution yes they are cancelled. Also what school are you committing to?
I just committed to UCSD, so a spot should open up for anyone still on the waitlist for UCI

@ilovemydog2019 I bought a sweater when I went for transfer admit day. My mom grabbed herself a keychain. I also have a plush Anteater my friend got me from safari animals.com lol. I am gonna get myself a hat and a shirt when I start moving in. I am pretty hyped!
UCI is an amazing school and really beautiful! UCI has been a backup school but that is starting to change. For those attending UCI because you didn’t make it to your top school just know UCI loved you first! Love her back and you will have an amazing experience. UCI is very rewarding!

So you guys should be receiving them too anytime soon if you haven’t received it yet.
Tomorrow those in the school of Humanities get to pick their academic advising session through a survey. Remember to have your unofficial transcripts to complete the survey.
