<p>I hate to break it to you, but it’s nearly impossible to become a doctor if you are not excellent in the sciences. Do your best, and try to follow the dream. But, don’t feel bad if you don’t make it. Lots of smart people don’t; it doesn’t mean there’s something defective about you. There are dozens of other careers that help people. Most of them probably aren’t prestigious as working as a doctor, but you said prestige wasn’t important to you, right? Seriously consider something like nursing or perhaps teaching. But respected careers.</p>
