<p>Yes, I think you should definitely write that you are retaking your calculus class this semester and you should be back up to a 3.2 by the end of Spring and explain if there were any extenuating circumstances that made you fall short of a passing grade in Fall.</p>
<p>However, when is the deadline to submit your appeal? I’m assuming your semester will end in the end of May. If the deadline is after then, maybe you can submit your new transcript so that there is “new and compelling” evidence, so it’s not just your words, but a transcript to back it up. If the deadline to appeal will pass by then, maybe you can print out your current grade in the class if it’s a good one?</p>
