<p>Le sigh. UCI put these up there. Each campus weighs things differently. I agree that class rank’s out the window, but this information was taken from Irvine’s admissions counselors’ mouths. Each counselor is different, and each incoming class is different, but the argument being made is that Irvine does take more into account than your GPA or test scores, which is the commonly-held misconception.</p>
