UCLA 2010 Still Pending........

@mikoteng Congrats!!!

mikoteng- that is great news :)

i am tempted to check mine but i already said i wasnt gonna look at ursa anymore i trying to stick to my word for once.

So I’m wondering if this is going to make or break the chances of my admission for me. But I’m a sociology major with a 4.0 at UCSC. Problem is that I neglected to take a calc/math course that apparently is required for UCLA SOCY prereqs. I have the rest of the prereqs fulfilled and my GEs are done. The website says still pending for me. What are my chances?

**My Pending Brethren!!! Check your Emails and URSA account. **
i know i was not a supporter of the whole check your URSA, but i received an email this afternoon and then logged on and my URSA changed.

Who knows, maybe it is different maybe just maybe it means we are in.

my URSA has still not changed. i guess this means i am rejected?

no brother, do not give up hope. URSA doesnt mean anything but it can be a good indicator or at least something to hang on to…give up hope when you have a definite answer to an appeal.

I am happy for you Jane. See? Good things happened to those who wait. Did you cry?
TEAM PENDING FOR THE WIN!

no i am reserving my tears for the actual acceptance/rejection letter.

i did however get overtly excited and giggle…and then make a thread out of haste…sorry peeps but thank you for your support.
love you guys :heart:

but

yeah still Team Pending!!!

too bad I didn’t apply for financial aids. So, URSA doesn’t work for me D;

haha I’m international student and never applied for aid but it still worked for me. Once you got accepted, URSA will change to “accept or decline this offer of admission”

Ok so this is how I found out about my acceptance (not officially yet -_-)

Around 1am (thats when they update the ursa website), my ursa showed no column and the message changed too update from 1-6… please submit your SIR from…this time to…. Before, when i was pending, I still can see my three columns along with the red message on top of the website. So when I go back to check at 3am, the ursa website was updated and showed 2 columns.

This morning they sent me an email about my financial aid provisional award.

I AM SO happy but still, i need to see my official letter with the banner Congratulation! TEAM PENDING

DONT give up HOPE!!!

congrats jane :slight_smile: my ursa still hasn’t changed…what time did you receive the email and what did it say?

thanx la4ever09. i received the email at around 2pm and this is what it said:
