<p>tested my tv before i left home, plugged the cable in there and it worked fine so i’m pretty sure its not the tv</p>
<p>edit: went down to the front desk and they said apparently stc handles cable and internet, guess i get to visit them tomorrow</p>

<p>it could be your cable jack is busted. try a different one (ie your roommate’s side or a neighbor)</p>
<p>you shouldn’t need a wrench. coax cables are meant to work without being screwed in so tight you can’t turn it yourself.</p>
<p>i suspect the wall jack is the problem. take your TV to another room in hedrick (make some friends!) and test it there. don’t use a wrench, you might damage something.</p>
