<p>Gmargos, did you get an email from admin? My roommate and another friend heard from them. Apparently, their IGETC certifications aren’t on file even though their CCC’s supposedly sent them out weeks ago. The courses aren’t listed in their DPR either. Maybe you have the same problem?</p>
<p>(For comparison, I’m a transfer too, and all my UC-transferable courses have been on my DPR since July.)</p>

<p>You can get an unofficial transcript at Murphy Hall. Then find a scanner on campus. Make sure to polish your CV, and write a cover letter.</p>

<p>You can copy & paste your DPR if you’d like but I recommend going to Murphy Hall. Unless you want to send an official transcript, either way you’ll have to go to Murphy. If the mentor asked for an email then that’s what you should send. Don’t make it more difficult than what he asked for.</p>

<p>Don’t be embarrassed about your GPA. GPA is only part of a package. People with “low” GPA usually don’t try to get into good summer programs because they believe don’t have a shot at getting an offer. That is not true because sometimes it’s the recommendation letters and the essays you write (if the application requires them) that get you in. You never know until you try.</p>
<p>What’s the diff between an official and unofficial transcript? I’ve never understood that in practical terms.</p>
<p>It means that one has a school seal on it, and the other doesn’t. It’s as simple as that. It’s like having an official GF and having an unofficial GF. You get it now?</p>
