Liyana’s cool and all, but I’m not looking at the moment. I know what you mean though, Liyana. I feel the same way about North Campus majors, lol. Everyone I meet is a science major!

right, because i’m gonna punch my roomie in the face. and that’s just a horrible link

salty, you’re surrounded by science majors cuz you’re not on the guard… well, we have a biochem major, but we also have several english majors, a WAC major, EE, computer engineering… ok, fine, we’re surrounded by south campusers lol.

Is there a way to know what TA I’ll get for a lab/discussion section?

I’m taking Psych 100B next quarter and I keep reading to choose my TA wisely

yeah, keep refreshing the course schedule or show up the first day of class. Simple!

So how accurate were the polls? :(

is it possible to walk from boelter to PAB in 10mins??

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaa

well, exit polls traditionally favor democrats, so my prediction wasn’t off-base or anything.

this year i didn’t look at exit polls, so i couldn’t tell ya.

intolerance of your intolarance

how long is winter break?

3 weeks. also depends when you’re done with your finals.

For those of you who took summer community college classes after you’ve already taken 105 units at UCLA, I know that only the course credit will transfer, and that the units and grades won’t transfer. But when you send in your community college transcript at the end of the summer to UCLA, what does the UCLA transcript show as the grade that you get for those classes? Do they simply appear as P/NP? Or does it still show your community college grade, but simply doesn’t count it in GPA calculations?

I’m planning on taking some GE’s and Writing II this summer at my local CC, and it would really relieve a lot of stress if all I need to do is pass them to get the course credit, and not have to worry about the grade showing up on my UCLA transcript.

The grade doesn’t show up at all. In fact it doesn’t even show up as P/NP. It’s just blank. In any case, if I were you, I’d at least try to do well. You still have to have UCLA accept the transfered class in order to get credit for it…

is printing in AAP lab free?

I’m boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooRRed!

for classes like english comp 3 and classes high in demand, how often, if at all, do they decide to open up new spots after priority for first pass people to at least get a chance to grab one?

priority is capped at half the enrollment, so classes and sections can never fill up during priority.

Anyone here ever take Sociology 175? How’s the prof (J.E. Brand)? I tried looking her up on Bruinwalk but nothing came up.

Does anyone know how fast Stats 10 fills up over the winter?

I’m not sure if I should use the priority pass on Stats or an upper div poli sci class.

use it on stats and get davis.

if you don’t do that, don’t complain when you get a sucky prof.

keep in mind you can sign up for davis’ morning lecture but go to her afternoon lecture most of the time!
