Either she is an athlete, daughter of a prominent UCLA figure, or she is making it up. You don’t get admitted through the phone, unless due to the first two reasons or another reason.

simply put…she is a nobody.

so apparently she must be lying.

amirite?

yep

earliest indication is probably those engineering letters they send out a month before indicating that hsseas recommended enrollment

for the average information session/employer presentation (which doesn’t really require resume handovers, interview scheduling on the spot, etc), what is the typical attire worn (casual, formal) if there is no designation? Obviously I know not to look sleazy. Is the atmosphere really casual or are they real conscious about stuff? hope these Q’s don’t sound too confusing. Thankss

Dress casual for the info sessions, at least in engineering. Some students show up in jeans and t-shirts.

Infosessions … you don’t have to impress anyone … though some wear the full suit, especially those who are about to graduate … I don’t think you receive a better impression.

For a career fair … you don’t have to … but business casual is requested … for these I would recommend to dress nicer … it’s not too difficult to do so, right?

I remember last quarter I saw some flyers about the fairs and thought I should check it out just out of curiosity…it was embarrassing that I was the only one in shorts and t-shirt; the company representatives just looked at me weird :D

Anyone going to the live diggnation tomorrow at the knitting factory?!

why did hedrick get rid of the sushi?? NOOOOOOOOOOO

No not going to the diggnation forgot about it lol but it will probably be sweet, kevin and alex are pretty funny

Is there any possible way to sell/transfer basketball tickets off of the bruincard? I’m probably not going to be going to the saturday game and would like to get some money/use out of it…

HEDERICK = NO MORE SUSHI??

omg and I didn’t go hederick once… but was planning on it this week… just for the sushi!!!

Um, you’re not missing much. At all…

they had good salmon sushi bowl

great sushi > good sushi > cheapest sushi in the cheapest sushi restaurant > costco sushi > donuts > hedrick sushi

In order to play racquetball at Wooden, I only need to provide the ball, right? I heard they let you borrow a racket. Is it hard to get a court?

courts aren’t that hard to get. there are the ones on floor level and then some more upstairs. sometimes they will let you borrow balls but you should probably bring your own to be sure

anyone at all know if its possible to sell/transfer bball tickets off of your bruincard? i can’t go to the game this weekend

No you can’t, but if you want to check if they have changed their policies call CTO.
