I was rejected. Seven percent acceptance rate? What is that? So after a year, students had one third the chance students the year before had? Thatās a bit fucked, no? Any explanation for this?
accepted and ive literally been crying for 30 minsā¦ im from NY and i really really love California like all of it and i was super scared i wouldnt get in OOSā¦ sat here refreshing the page for like 2 hours waiting omg

@Nearingcollege, I think the 5700 students is the enrollment or yield, not accepted.

Accepted! Wish I could give it to someone who wanted it more, though; I applied before I knew my results from some of my other schools and realized that UCLA was just too big of a school for me
@umsigmadom How would a student accept or deny admission before being offered admission though? Just a bit confused. I wouldāve applied to UChicago having expected an acceptance rate less than seven.

@GodHelpUs Same, I wish I could give my acceptance to someone who wanted it more Iāll most likely be heading to Penn this fall, so that hopefully opens up a spot for someone on the waitlist!

@NearingCollegeā UW GPA 3.84, my school doesnāt weight so idk what it is weighted but all AP classes, 34 ACT, 2 740s and a 730 on SAT IIs, lots of ECs but biggest ones are probably president of a cappella group, starting my own photography website and shooting for magazines, and im a competitive sailor and would realllly love to be on the team at UCLA congratulations to you too!
My son got in UCLA, so so happy!
