@csug2021 sadly not, ucla only looks at the major you applied to

…but didn’t everyone get the confirmation email on 12/9?? i’m like 99.9% sure that’s not an indicator of getting in, it’s just a standard email that every school sends out to confirm an app
@Darkinstar Actually I was hoping they didn’t cause I got the “likely letter” and was worried that I could be admitted as undeclared.

UCLA did not email me to make a portal either…
is this something to worry about…
@DreamforIvy I am not sure which time zone exactly because for me it is 8:00am SGT. I know as a rule of thumb that the US is 13 hours behind.
Hi @giriboy the email should have been sent to all candidates. It may have been snagged by a filter like gmail’s labels/categories. Not to worry. The portal will ask you for last name, UC application ID so make sure you have that handy, birth date and city you were born in.
