@saphirajo My major is Graphic Design. I applied to the Design Media program under the Art and Architecture Department. Hopefully, I can still depend on this second chance.
@saphirajo If you major in Film, UCI may be a good option for you if you did not get admitted to UCLA.
@ForeverBlue2092 For sure - keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! Ive read of several people getting into the film program on appeals, they mentioned that they submitted the letter early so hopefully thats a helpful push for us!
@saphirajo I submitted my appeal on the first day when they opened the portal. Finger crossed for both of us. May god bless the results.

@maddiie99 if they still havenât gotten back to you yet, I would just give up hope. I am sorry but I donât think UCLA will be accepting any appeals now as they continue to use their waitlist more. Pretty sure UCLA is also at its max capacity for its incoming class so if I were you, I would just move on and start exploring more about the school that you SIRâd to. If UCLA does pull through and accept you then hey, congrats but honestly at this point I doubt it. I am sorry for sounding pessimistic but itâs just the reality of appeals.
If UCLA doesnât accept your appeal and you still want to attend UCLA, you can always transfer from another UC school to UCLA in 2 years so
