Then we should definitely start getting answers by tomorrow, either an unlikely letter or some movement. If the engineering college had space to admit a few people already (which they almost never do), then why wouldn’t LS?

Ucla most likely has a very good picture of what the yield is gonna be and the fact that the waitlist hasn’t moved yet probably means it won’t move significantly or at all. Not to mention that Ucla extended more waitlist offers according to the LA times so the chances of getting in look to be very slim.
