@oneyear my daily routine only consists of
-waking up and checking college confidential periodically every 2 hours to see if the decisions came out
…XD
Who is starting to feel the raising of the gas prices? even though this is a transfer thread…
@AeroDE it hurts me a lot since I drive 40 miles daily for work. It’s crazy it’s not even summer
@gokingsgo1999 If they follow previous years’ trend, it would be around 5pm.
But nothing new on the admissions twitter or the portal… Let’s pack it up boys. See you next Wednesday
Yeah I highly doubt it’s gonna be today lol
@oneyear I do the exact same thing! I feel you ?
@gokingsgo1999 I think if we were to hear back today it would be past 5 PM
there will be two end games next week then. Lol
Gass prices… at costco its 3.7 bucks like waaaat
what are we expecting for today ?
we are expecting disappointment today
i gotta find a way to occupy myself for this upcoming week cuz i’m about to tear my edges out stressing over this stuff lmao :bawling:
?
Just sitting here avoiding work by watching UCLA campus tours :grimace:
Do you guys have a favorite UCLA related video? These are my favorites
Transfer Q&A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtEzGVwBbgA
Crimson Q&A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6_q5ZTTwj8
Both are super informative
how many transfer students applied to ucla this year compared to last year?
Is there any chance that they’re gonna drop on Friday 4/19? Because back in 2015 & 2016, they actually released on Friday
http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2018/03/2018-uc-transfer-admission-notification-dates/
UCLA
2018: Wed, April 25, 5:10p
2017: Wednesday, April 26, 5p
2016: Friday, April 22, 5p
2015: Friday, April 17
@fattykirby not very likely. The 24th is the most likely date for decisions.
Oof my bday is on the 19th. If they post the decisions on that day and I got rejected, big oof.
@ashyashy I’m wondering about that too! I just remember that around 23K transfer applicants applied last year. I talked with an admissions officer over the summer and they were expecting an increase for this year.
@ashyashy they haven’t actually released transfer data for fall 2019
total transfer applicants
Fall 2018 =23,741
Fall 2017=21,859
Fall 2016=22,287
Based on this, you can predict UCLA will have more than 20k for fall 2019. Including a admit rate of 24.6% with ±1.25%.
