UCLA Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

@Gg1503 there is a prize if you guess it right

bruh I was going to apply to usc too and Stanford but last minute I thought I dont stand a chance and didn’t apply. I wish I did tho, at least I could’ve shot my shot

My top choice would be USC=UCLA>UCB

GPA and major?

@gokingsgo1999 haha thanks! I’m a cali resident now so I’ve been here for 3 years! but yeah i know i’m just afraid they’ll kick me out and I’d have to cover tuition myself. I’m not necessarily old enough to declare myself an independent on FAFSA lol

Is UCLA as competitive as Berkeley?
Does UCLA practice Deflation?
Is the coursework as UCLA as difficult as Berkeley?

I think its crazy how I have lived 1.5 hrs away from UCLA my whole life and barely saw the campus for the first time last September.

@sightwordsev theres a million of us in here fam, youre gonna have to be specific as to who youre asking

I’m legit gonna be at work when decisions come out… I have an 8 hr shift Thurs-Sun this week
Opening decisions will be a treat after a long day of work or a mf disaster xD

I think UCLA is a bit more competitive than Berkeley. Though it would slightly differ by major

Is anyone applying for business econ?

@GoodAfternoonSir It’s competitive anywhere you go, but at UCLA the competition is more underground. You don’t get that same type of vibe like at Cal.

I really hope you guys find out the 17th too! I know how horrible the wait can be… idk who uci thinks they are possible releasing decisions after UCLA and Berkeley…

@zk00 me

All of you guys I guess. I am really anxious about the decisions

I just have a feeling that UCI will be tmrw…
Also late to the party! Taiwanese-American here.

@CalBear1998 In other words, the competitive vibe isn’t as obvious in UCLA compared to Berkeley huh

UCI honestly likes to play games… releasing decisions then leaving everyone else on read. UCI is worst than guys on tinder

Is anyone else psyched for the UC health insurance? Kind of a weird thing to be excited about but honestly it’s clutch. Free clinic. $5 prescriptions. Low cost OTC meds. Cheap PT and massages. Access to all UC health centers. My sickly asss bout to be taken care of lol

UCB is more competitive than UCLA, in other words, UCB is more academic than UCLA
