UCLA Greek Life (guys)

Here’s three great threads:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/43246-fraternities-ucla-pros-cons-2.html -> Lakerfan77’s description

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/94887-best-fraternity.html

The last two are more recent, but things don’t change much. According to a guy in the third link, DTD, Zeta Psi, and Pi Kapp are the most accepting to non-traditionals. There’s also Delta Lamda Phi, which is our gay and bisexual one.

honestly though, you sound like you’re good with girls, so that’s definitely a plus. rush week is during week 1, so just check out the free events and see what you like.

Also, I don’t know if it matters to you or not, but I really recommend rushing in the spring for the fact that it will be easier to make friends (and easier to get bids). Generally everyone makes friends during fall quarter as people get into their cliques and become less social by spring quarter. Rushing takes a lot of time, so it will be a lot harder to hang out/meet people. It’ll also give you a chance to get a feel for the frats.

hope that helped!
