So…here’s what happened.
Three people interviewed me. One woman and two men. The first thing they asked me was about my band, and all the crazy things we’ve done. I was so happy because that instantly made me comfortable. They made me feel really relaxed and totally laughed at all my jokes. I knew it was going well! I even made some low-brow comments about “defiling my body” (they asked about my tattoo). They ****ing ate it up! They loved the humor. Then they asked me to pitch them the screenplay I wrote. They also asked me if I were a boat, what kind of boat I would be. I have NO CLUE where I pulled this but I said: “I’d be a yacht that needs to be rowed. Because I’ve got a big personality and big dreams, but it took a lot of hard work to be this person.” THEY LOVED THAT. I saw HIT 'EM w/the jokes, people. and RELAX! I’m so thrilled.
They did stump me with “what are your favorite lyrics you’ve ever written”; i couldnt think of anything but i guess it didnt matter. :)
