Look… UCLA fully weighted GPA (for admitted applicants) is 4.29 to 4.60 for 25 to 75 percentiles. So you are already off the lower range.
For the UC’s provisional admission contract: No D’s or F’s or you could be rescinded. I would try really really hard to get that grade up to the C/B range especially for UCLA.
@uclaparent9 please provide the source for those figures. Last available (2014) Admitted Student Profile stated the average fully weighted GPA was 4.39 for admits. Thanks.
Update: so I have a C in that class now, there were a few things that went in that pulled it back up. Does that help my chances?
