<p>Worring…What’s happening? Mine is still pending. Check my app every morning, and the freaking words “decision pending” is killing me every time. I was dreamed to have the words shown “You’re Admitted”!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</p>

<p>I too applied for business econ and have yet to hear back. I called yesterday and talked to the admissions office and they said that they still had thousands of transfer applications that still need to be evaluated. I asked if she could let me know if mine had been evaluated and it was not. She also said that they were understaffed so just be patient, I know it is difficult.</p>
<p>i am so impatient…Cant wait too much longer…lol…</p>
<p>I think they have tons of evaluators or couselors to evaluate applications, they shouldn’t take that long, the transfer applicants applied to UCSB last year was around 5,000. </p>
<p>And we turned our app on NOV. 2009, it is currently 4 months away.</p>
<p>SO freaking frustrating.</p>

<p>@allen889 my major is communications. Gpa 3.78 with TAG. I know i know, i have TAG BUT the key to contentment is an actual acceptance letter or notice. :(</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure everyone is in the same boat that hasn’t been accepted yet. As hard as it is to stay level headed, and not get frustrated, we have to. This decision-pending has been eating at me since Monday, (mine is still pending) but you can’t let it jerk your emotions around. I have a midterm tomorrow (yeah, on a Saturday) and I know that I need to focus on it. Just know that by the end of April everyone will have a settled mind, and be able to fully realize where they are headed. As I write this, I feel better about my mediocre statistics (AA degree in transfer studies, transferred and dropped out of SDSU, returned to CC, now with a 2.83 GPA, Philosophy major, IGETC complete, pre-reqs done by spring) and knowing that there is always hope when you think positively. I’ve found that writing how I feel puts my mind at ease…at least for a short period of time.</p>
<p>Come on guys, I know that we all want to see our admissions on that first day, but its not going to happen every time. Ranting about it here won’t help it come out faster.
I know its tempting to say “OMG I have a 3.9999 why am I still pending??!!” but its beyond us to figure out how the universities do what they do. </p>
