<p>Hey people, I want to call tomorrow and ask about my application. 2 weeks ago I called, and they told me that they hadn’t started on my application. I want to see if they have started on mine and if they will give the same answer to you. </p>
<p>Also, has there been anyone who has been rejected with a gpa close to ~3.2. I’ve seen that most rejection so far are for students with below a 3.0, but I’ve also seen a 3.1 get rejected on this thread. </p>

<p>I called admissions on thursday poli sci major and i have a 3.4 igetc done all pre requisites done and math in progress. They told me my chances of getting in are pretty slim.</p>

<p>@baypleas1: Yeah dude I didn’t get into UCSC because my math class is in progress…I was told to appeal and tell them I am doing well in the class. I am going to get a letter from my math teacher and have her tell them I am doing well also.</p>
<p>@pscholler yeah I called admissions and they also told me to appeal have you heard back from sb? They said that I was a big if and that I was on the fence about getting admitted</p>

Call up admissions and tell them to change your status, then say cuss words at them and hang up. Very likely your status will be changed from pending.</p>

<p>^^^ haha…ditto…worst part is, I was really feeling the love for UCSB at the start of this whole thing, I would’ve chosen them over UCLA any day back then…now, I’m just really over their crap…</p>
