I thought USC was pretty transfer friendly. They have articulation agreements with a bunch of CCCs, which is where most of their transfers come from.

UCSD, you are tripping this year. It’s already the 20th of April and nearly no one knows if they’ve gotten into your school.

Accepted to UCSD.

However, I need assurance please.

I dropped and received W in math 119 which is the Elementary Statistics. The class was not part of my major requirement or tag or igetc. I’ll have 60 transferable semester units with certified IGETC and TAG completed by the end of Spring semester.

Does dropping Statistics 119 affect my TAG at UCSD? I am a Political Science major.

By the way, Statistics 119 is not listed as my major requirement on assist.org.

Thanks!

Look at your acceptance conditions, and notify admissions. That’s the best advice anyone can give you. You’re probably fine, though.

Just got in at uc davis!!! Yayay!!! Now if only I find about UCSD sad face. (Yeah I forgot it was the UCSD thread my bad. Just was happy to have some news) :D

Really? This is a ucsd thread dude, come on now.

Go trojans!!! LOL Don’t bash on USC like that… have you ever been on the campus? The school spirit is something you won’t find at most of the other universities…

Anyhow… I can’t believe UC Davis released their decisions before UCSD… still relieved I got UCD and UCI for backup… but UCSD… hurry up ><

it doesn’t say anything in the conditions of acceptance letter. But I did notify UCSD about it. Since, it’s not part of my TAG or IGETC or the 60 units, I should be fine?

Thank you Grimes. I ended up going through every page before cause I remembered you posted it and finding it. I leave my patience for my 3 year olds :)

Hey guys~

I’m literally the only person within the people that I know who didn’t receive anything from UCSD yet. Does this mean that I’m likely to get rejected? This actually happened to my friend once, she said that the admissions reps take the ones who are in the “iffy” pile and reject most of the applicants. In my friend’s case, she got rejected. IM FREAKING OUT! If anyone has any information about this please let me know :)

that’s true

^^ nope.

not if your major is impacted at least. not sure about other majors.

Impacted major? I’m actually majoring for Communications and UCSD is known for Communications :/

Unless you have TAG almost no one has found out yet. They have only released one batch of decisions.

All of my friends who got accepted actually didn’t have tag…it’s so weird!

has anyone heard from ucsd transfering as a math major. If anyone got accepted to ucsd as a math major please tell me ur stats.

has anyone been denied to ucsd as a fall 2011 transfer student please tell me ur stats.

UCSD sends out rejections on April 30th as well as some acceptances.

My question is if people still have the original housing message that says our records indicate you cannot continue with your housing application. Please call the village something like that

@CShizzle77

i still have that message. =/

i don’t think i want to know if that’s a bad sign.
