Wait, so not everyone sees the following message in “My TritonLink” when they click on “Housing Application”?

“Housing Application for Fall 2011-2012”

“The Housing Application deadline for incoming Transfer students is June 1st. Please note however that this Housing Application site will temporarily be unavailable from April 15th thru April 27th. Please come back between April 28th and June 1st.”

I thought they would just change everyone’s message to that regardless of admission status to prevent any of these “if mine changed that means I’m in?” rumors. It would be strange if they only changed the message for a portion of the applicants.

Please respond in a manner that indicates whether your housing message is the one presented above or different.

Ya mine is definitely different than that one. Mine is still:

Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact The Village Residential Services Office at 858-534-9380 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 6pm.

Sounds like good news for you, not so much for me.

My guess, although speculation, is that they review applicants individually and if you were accepted they probably update their system so that it shows in your housing but they dont update the status page until they decide to do it all at once… if that makes sense… Idk it seems like the most logical albeit pure speculation…

My housing message changed today from the one about not being able to proceed due to admissions status to the one about the site being closed until April 28th. It made me excited even though nobody can be sure if it means anything haha… :)

For those still waiting, when was your application submitted? I submitted mine on the last day, I’m thinking that is the reason why I have not heard back yet. :/
