I applied as an Ecology (Bio major) as my primary & Sociology (Science & Medicine) as my alternate. I emailed UCSD a week ago to inform them that I wanted to switch my majors. I submitted Sociology as my primary & Anthropology (Biological) as my alternate. They emailed me back saying that "it’ll take 10 days to make the change…"etc. Hopefully they’ll accept the major changes & release the decisions soon :-/</p>

Just last week I notified them about dropping a class, which puts me at 57 units, but I also told them about credit by exam units that they may or may not accept. If they do accept them I will have 62 units.
I am thinking that they did not see my change of schedule yet… so it was a mistake that they admitted me…what do you guys think?

<p>We got a week you guys! I’m staying optimistic :D, and if for some reason I don’t get into UCSD, oh well, God has something better prepared for me. I have a plan B (GWU) so we shall see.
A quick tip to those of you who are losing faith, go watch The Secret (it’s on netflix). It will change the way you look at life and everything around you. Stay positive you guys! It’s all mental (well, not all but your mind plays a huge role into all things going on around you)</p>

<p>…you most likely got rejected from Davis not because of your gpa, but because of the missing pre-reqs (I’m almost sure of that). That’s the beauty of SD. If you have TAG then they are very relaxed on pre-req completion.</p>
<p>Although I got into SD (Marshall College) in the 1st batch, it is not my first choice. That said, if I don’t get into UCLA or Cal, I would be PERFECTLY happy going to UCSD. That’s exactly why I’m not going insane waiting for LA and Berkeley decisions to come out. If I end up going to SD I might run into you (since my major is Electrical Engineering, and I’m told the CSE and EE depts are closely related)</p>
